"ELDER ABUSE!! Laura Geninatti ripped off my 93 year old mother by refusing to cancel her car insurance even though my mother told her on the phone to cancel it immediately. My mother had a stroke and could no longer could drive so she sold the car. Laura refused to cancel her insurance and State Farm kept taking the money out of her account. Not only did Laura refuse to cancel her insurance, but she demanded proof that the car was sold and on top of that demanded that the person she sold it to had insurance on the car. What!? This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard from a car insurance agent. She was clearly out of line. After several phone calls, I contacted the Texas Department of Insurance and complained about her. That was when State Farm refunded all of the money that was taken from my mom. Anybody who treats a 93 year old, incapacitated person like this, stealing her money, is EVIL!! At least State Farm refunded Mom's money. Update: In response to Laura Geninatti's response: Fact #1. Laura knew my mother had had a stroke, was disabled, and sold her car. Fact #2. My mother herself, talked to Laura and told her to cancel her insurance immediately, which Laura refused to do, even though my mother was the policy holder and had the right to do so. Fact #3. Laura told her that she had to have proof that she had sold the car, otherwise Laura wouldn't cancel the policy. Fact #4. Laura also told her that she had to prove that the new owner had insurance on the car, otherwise, Laura wouldn't cancel the policy. Fact #5. I had to contact the Texas Department of Insurance to complain about Laura Geninatti and State Farm to get my mother's money back that Laura stole from her by refusing to cancel her insurance. This is the truth of what happened. So whether I had the Power of Attorney or not, my mother was the policy holder and my mother was the one who told Laura to cancel her insurance, which Laura, knowing all of the circumstances, refused to do. Totally unethical and abuse towards a disabled, elderly person."

"I hate to leave bad reviews but there was such a lack of communication with this office- they sent people out and about to pick up customers they came to my work and I said sure signed up a month later the person who came to my work wasn't even working there anymore-and the agent Laura was very dismissive and I got no help at all."
